ASI Ukpo Comprehensive Cancer Centre utilizes an Elekta Synergy multimodal multi-energy LINAC with integrated 160-leaf interdigitating multileaf collimators, with the ability to deliver precise and rapid external beam radiation therapy using the finest techniques available - including 3D-CRT, IMRT, VMAT and SRS – for the treatment of cancer. It is the first centre with a ProKnow Planning tool for online auto segmentation. Our Monaco 5.5.1 is deployed for advanced radiotherapy techniques with the best algorithms. Our 160-MLC centre deploys patient-specific QA with the most sophisticated 4D Octavius dosimetry tools. We also employ MOSAIQ Medical Oncology, adopting a robust database streamlining our patient data, clinical regimens and pharmacy information, so we can deliver the best possible care for every patient. The Cancer Centre is equipped with its own CT Simulator, a 90-cm large bore Canon CT machine, the largest in the region, with the advantage of accommodating all immobilization devices to achieve the most precise diagnosis and reproducibility during treatment.
